They say you want a revolution
In 1988, Public Enemy released “Don’t Believe The Hype”, Flavor Flav’s unique style and lyrics revolutionized a whole generation. Hip Hop and music would never be the same.

20 years on and Spurs are undergoing yet another revolution, this time in the hands of non-English speaking Juande Ramos. Champions League football was a realistic target, 67 million spent on new players, all be it mostly untried in the Premier League, never the less, Spurs were a team ready to challenge the top four.
With previous manager Martin Jol sitting pretty at the top of the German league with Hamburg, and a record far worse then his predecessor, is Ramos quite simply a poor mans Rafa Benitez?
We all know it’s too early to judge, but Spurs were not expecting to be bottom of the league after 4 games. It is evident to see that Spurs still lack any real cutting edge. You cant expect to sell 40 + goals a season in Keane and Berbatov and replace them Darren Bent and a Premier League virgin.
So what has exactly gone wrong? Ramous dismantle the team Jol built to create his own system and style, only problem being the Spurs team don’t seem to know what that system actually is.
Modric, Giovani, Gomes and Pavyvchenko will need time to adjust to the Premier League, but we are talking over 50 million pounds worth of players here. Chances are they may not adjust and could be sent packing like Shevhchenko, Veron & Forlan before them.
One thing is for sure down at the Lane “Don’t Believe The Hype”, because money does not but success!
