I find it absolutely outrageous that we are judging a team after 4 games, if my memory serves me well, wasn't Man United in the bottom 3 after 4 games last season?

Spurs will come good, it will take time, Ramos wasn’t built in a day!!

We have way to much quality not be challenging for the top 4, 2 wins and we are we back in with a shout. How many teams will go to Chelsea and get a point this season, not Arsholes for sure!

10 places? I don’t get you. We all know it’s early days, never the less it’s bloody hilarious after all the hype!

We should have a clear indication at Christmas. The thing that shocked me so much is you don’t look like scoring, in the 4 games this season you’ve hardly created any chances. Bents goal at Chelsea was your only shot, the goal against Villa was a total fluke too. The Spuds are usually up there when it comes to goals scored, goals conceded is a different matter, what is it, 6 clean sheets in 50? No doubt Ramos wil spend another 30 million in January

It a disgrace for Spurs fans to want Ramos out but all clubs have a minority of fools who give their supporters a bad name. Champions League dream is definitely harder now but not impossibale. I think the whole league wil be much more open this year anyway. Its still so early. You guys are pandering to and even breeding the media frenzy that I hate so much by getting so definitive in your assumptions after 4 games. We're only a win behind Man Utd and I'm pretty sure they'll be in the top 2 at the end of the season. The players do need to gel and I hope that happens sooner rather than later. We have a very good squad and when they do start to gel I am sure we'll be looking at a different Spurs.
Oh and Darren, I'm sure it was 10 places!

King was your captain? He hasn’t played 3 games in row for 3 years. Maybe that’s one of your problems, it’s hardly setting an example.

Watching the game on Monday it was evident Robbie Keane is sorely missed. When Arsenal played Spurs he was the one player that we were terrified of, a constant treat with his energy and pace, Santos looked ok but he will take time to settle.

At last, a Spud in the house! Wondered when they would show their sorry face. Yes it’s a marathon and not a sprint, but I think you can safely say the champions league dream is over. Liverpool finished 4th last year losing only 6 games. The Spuds have lost 3 already. You need consistency to mount a serious challenge on the top 4, this something the Spuds will never have.

I went on a few message boards and I was actually very surprised to read that some of your fans want Ramos sacked, it’s Newcastle part 2. Sack him replace him with who? It’s madness!

Anyway Martyn, would you like to make that bet that Arsenal finish 10 points above the Spuds to £100?

Finishing 5th 2 years in a row, by its very nature, is not a one off Darren. Ledley King is our captain not Robbie Keane. Woolwich still won nothing last year or the year before or the year before.
Anyway, as I said before - Marathon not a sprint.
Lets discuss at season end and then we can relook at that blog Stevie.

and Sunderland for that matter! Lets not forget, they are a very good team, Roy Keane has spent close to 100 million on players himself. Not that I could actually name many of them, most of them would be excellent championship players no doubt.

Spurs & Newcastle suffer from the same disease, apart from being shite they actually believe they have a divine right to challenge for honors. It's takes years of building up a decent squad, as well as bringing through decent youth players. (Man United for example) and more importantly, keeping hold of them.

You need the right ingredients to make it work, Spurs were close with Martin Jol until lasagnagate, got poisoned and never recovered. Good teams will also bounce back from adversity, that’s why the top 4 are the top 4. How many times have people written Arsenal off, yet year after year they prove people wrong, ok, so they haven’t anything but they are mighty close, and how much have they spent? Nothing compared with Newcastle & Spurs.

Newcastle & Spurs won’t progress until realize they are just mediocre, they are no bigger Bolton, Fulham or Everton.

Lets bear in mind that there is no shame in being beaten by Villa at home. They are far and away the best team outside of the top 4. Should Spurs have signed O'Neil? Of course, I have said time and again he is the best manager the game has produced in the last 20 years. He can take any side and turn them into over achievers, and he can draw performances out of average players that the likes of Wenger can only dream of. Would he have gone to a shambles like Tottenham had they asked? No chance. He is a person that views loyalty as paramount, Spurs are not a club famed for sticking by managers while they get it right.....

i didnt see the game last night but would you say that spurs shouldve tried to sign Martin O'neill rather than Juande Ramos?

O'neill has done a far better job with less money and as for Bentley, why is everyone raving about him when clearing Milner is a far far better player with a brighter future and hopefully he will be in the full England squad soon
