we were well beaten and full credit to Chelsea, you only have to look at their Bench, Ballack, kalou, Alex & the Russian lad, all of those players would get into every other side in the league. However, at the start of the season if you would have said we'd finish 3rd I would have taken that all day long.

The quicker Wenger realizes we are not a Barcelona the sooner we can start challenging for honors again! Until then I'm afraid we are a team who plays great football and has great team spirit but little else

They'll be out of the FA Cup as well by the beginning of January. Arsenal have impressed all season but I think no RVP = RIP for their title hopes. I've already backed Holland for a 14-1 each way in South Africa, I doubt that's gonna come in now without him spearheading, good news for Fabio though.

Chelsea were just way too strong for Arsenal yesterday... all over the pitch but especially in defence. RVP will be sorely missed, but its yet another wake up call for wenger as no matter how much flair you've got, you will strugle in the big games against the big teams.

Title race over

in a word no, Liverpool have Torres and Gerrard, Arsenal have Fabregas and RVP, they will beat the lesser sides without him but will struggle to open up the best sides without him in the side. He was a central part to every Arsenal attack. I feel for the lad as he seems to jinxed by injuries. He might not even make the World Cup, god knows what psychological effect that might have on him if he doesnt
