I said last season, he's being trumped up because of his age. Would have Giggs won it if he was 24 and had only played for 5 or 6 seasons??..........exactly. A lifetime acheivement award, yes, the premierships greatest ever player? probably, but not sports personality of the year. He has been brilliant over the last 10 years for sure. But sports personality of the year for playing a bit part in a team that were totally outplayed in the Champions League final? I see he also gets a mention here too, life time achievement yes but in my top 10 for the season. Fabregas has been superb but you have to give it to Drogba surely, he is in the form of his life. Even when Chelsea concede goals he's at the end other banging them in or setting them up. I'd also give Anelka a mention, unsung hero in that Chelsea side.
