Another rumor, another target? Could this transfer ignite Arsenal’s season if it happens?

BBC Sport have reported that The Gunners are on the verge of bidding 26m for the 20-year old Belgium wonder kid.

Hazard, a distant cousin of Thomas Vermaelen was named Ligue 1 player of the season, after Lille’s league and cup double.

BBC Sport understands Wenger is a huge fan of Hazard and could make a move for the midfielder before the transfer window shuts on 31 August.

But Lille general manager Frederic Paquet told BBC Sport: “Eden will not be leaving this season.

“We are aware of interest from some of the biggest clubs in Europe but we are not prepared to sell.

if it happens, which it won’t, he will be amazing. He already has a superb understanding with Gervinho

he would be awesome… I just don’t think Wenger would spend that soort of money on another winger when we have plenty and not sure Arsenal as a club currently have the pulling power to get a player with his talents

Walcott
Ashavin

Nasri gone, Rosciky finished 2 years ago. Alex C too young.

Another young midfielder to go with all the others. Young Eden obviously has talent but he needs to hit the ground running, Ligue 1 is not the Premiership. Wenger needs experience, defenders and a leader, that should be the priority at the moment.
