Can Manchester United win anything without Rooney?

Wayne Rooney will be fit for the World Cup, but will face between two and four weeks on the sidelines.

It was déjà Vu as England’s talisman had the whole nation shouting the words, ‘not again’ as he fell to the ground clutching his ankle, in what was originally feared to be another metatarsal injury.

Rooney, scored his 34th goal of the season after just 64 seconds, as Manchester United looked to be heading for a crucial away victory at the Allianz Arena.

But with seconds remaining United suffered a double blow, Ivica Olic hit an injury-time winner to give Bayern the advantage then Wayne Rooney twisted his right ankle when he landed awkwardly, forcing him to leave the stadium on crutches.

Rooney will miss United’s Premier League showdown with Chelsea and most of the Red Devils title run in.

The question remains, can Manchester United win either the Premier League or the Champions League without Rooney in their side?

Dont think United can win a thing without Rooney.

Also United never looked to getting a win yesterday, they just had a one goal lead. I knew that they would come up short because they tried to sit on the precious away goal.

They were totally dominated by Bayern. United had no shots on goal in the 2nd half apart from set peices!! shame!!!
