England move up in FIFA World Rankings

It’s official, panic over, England are not as bad as we originally thought. Despite their horrific World Cup in South Africa, Fabio Capello’s flops have risen from 8th to 7th in FIFA’s latest world rankings.

England were humiliated in the last 16 by a brilliantly young dynamic German side who have moved up two places to fourth.

Capello was given a life line after he appeared to lose the dressing room after refusing to change his tactics.

England take on Hungary in August at Wembley, in what promises to be a very difficult fixture.

World Cup & European champions Spain have replaced Brazil at number one, with the Dutch moving up to second. Brazil who host the next World Cup in 2014 have slipped to third.
