Boreham Wood 3-1 FC Halifax Town


Newly-promoted Boreham Wood won their first National League comfortably beating FC Halifax Town 3-1 After Ricky Shakes opened the scoring for the Hertfordshire sideconverting Danny Woodards’ ball past Halifax goalkeeper Matt Glennon.Then the visitors replied very minute  in the first half with a Jordan Burrow penalty after Josh MacDonald was fouled by Ben Nunn.Jamie Lucas put the home side in front before Harry Crawford sealed the win in stoppage time. Boreham Wood will be hoping to continue their great start next weekend.
