Have the gunners lost their bottle?

Arsene Wenger usually drives the fastest Milk float in the South, but after the mighty Reds of Middlesbrough gave them a footballing lesson, the Arsenal bandwagon seems very off all a sudden. Fatigue, injuries, 4 away games on the trot? For once, Mr Wenger actually admitted his side were not good enough.

Bottle job?

Avram Grant must surely be licking his lips at the prospect of driving the very same milk float down the Kings road with 3 pints on the back. Defensively Chelsea are solid, but with Arsenal’s nemesis recovering from all that diving Chelsea’s problems will be up front. Andre Shevchenko scored in the 2-0 win over the mighty Mackems, but still looks totally out of his depth.

Arsenal will be hoping that Robin Van Persie & Flammini are fit, but Fabregas & Hleb are both major doubts.

Prediction: Arsenal 1 Chelsea 2

Why the hype on Sunday??? Are we that shallow that we believe Alan Hansen saying that this weekend is the most important in Liverpool’s history….is he mad? A Champ league qualifier to a poor French team…a league match versus Utd in December (hardly a title decider) and then…wait for it….a Carling Cup QF versus Chelsea….ooh! The anticipation…..Back in the grey-grim-pre-prem years no-one would have fallen for this media gubbins…..I mean c’mon! Its not late April and the FA cup semi finals are looming, every pt counts in the league and Real Madrid away loom in the 2nd leg of the Champ league semi’s is it!! To quote Gazza from 1994…’We Hate Sky!’

As Ian Wright pointed out on Talk Sport, it’s no big deal, Middlesbrough have an excellent record against the so called top four. It’s a tough place to go, it’s in the middle of no where for a start! Boro were well up for it and deserved the win. I can’t see Arsenal playing that badly at home. With RVP & Flammini back Arsenal should be far more creative.

Great picture, I wish he would deliver my Milk, my wife actually thinks Wenger is a sex god, mind you, she did marry me!

I’ll have to disagree on your prediction though, I’ll go for an Arsenal 3-0 victory. Believe me, in the face of adversity, Arsenal always deliver!
