A bold brave and ambitious Development Plan was launched as promised by UKFF on 1st Septetmber. It involves putting in place a player and club progression Strategy that has won the endorsement of Ex Liverpool Defender Phil Babb and attracted excellent new Premier League and Nationwide Development Coaches as well.

The new structure is detailed in an internal Club Development Plan that links the clubs inclusion and player development plans with its vision to progress to Ryman League Football within 10 years.

Emanuel Orobator, UEFA B Coach and Asst Manager of Premier League Fulham FC Under 13’s will Head the new Elite Development Squad which will be charged with getting players ready for professional football. This includes mirroring the Premier Leagues plan for Under 21 Squads and part of this role is to set up 6 Assessment Camps and Trial/Showcase matches a year vs Semi pro and Pro Under 21 Matches at the Clubs new HQ – the Pavillions at Grand Drive. He will be supported in this by Kyrie Donnolly of Brentford Football Club who has been appointed there to help with player development and has recently returned from a months coaching stint with Manchester United.

Phill Babb will promote UKFF to his extensive national and international network where appropriate and is meeting the senior management team from UKFF next week to discuss the clubs Development Plan.

Adam Parry the Executive Chairman has been taskedwith leading on the Clubs progression plans which include progressing the Club to Ryman Status within 10 years and he will work closely with Phil Babb in that regard. This includes identifying players who can help strengthen the club and putting in place a sustaniable budget to match the clubs ambitions.

Meanwhile Theo Scott and Joel Samuel will continue their work in establishing the club at the Junior Level of SSEC and identifying the players who can progress to the Elite Development Squad which will feature UKFF connected players who have progressed to other clubs.

” We could not be more excited about the future” said Director of Football, Ewemade Orobator.  ”  We have seen off the fly by nights who lacked the commitment and belief to drive us forward and we have players, the infrastrucure and support at all levels to achieve incredible things and I am certain we will. This does not mean walking through the junior divisons. Our mission remains to progress players not to trophy hunt. We will progress by implementing our Development Plan and that comes first. We are building for the future and it will be a fantastic future for all concerned. This will be the place to be and no one should doubt that for a single minute .”
