MK Dons on the march?

Alright winkles and winklets, here’s the 2nd part of my league predictions for this season. Today we are having a nosey at League 2 and seeing if we can make some sheckles for the summer to make amends for non Euro 08 participation.

Looking at the League 2 table, I don’t think you can argue with the Guv’nors credentials of being a future Premiership manager. He saved Macclesfield from the drop last year and has transformed The MK Dons into table-topping guv’nors and I can’t see anyone catching them for the title unless a bigger club snaps him up in the meantime. He had a minor slip up at the weekend but the Dons are still 8 points in front, I doubt anyone will catch them for 1st place.
Ince was an outstanding player starting out in the late 80’s with the Irons before playing for Manchester, Inter Milan, Liverpool & Borough plus he gained 53 England caps and was the country’s 1st black captain. Who can forget that night in Rome when he said “I look like a black Terry Butcher at the moment”. Gazza said he looked more like a pint of Guinness!.

Ince & Gazza

It might be worth a massive long shot even by my standards but Incy Wincey is 33/1 to be England Manager by the time 2018 world Cup Starts. You may laugh but look who took over when Sven left.

Lying a few down from The Dons are Darlington aka The Quakers. I’d be quaking if I was above them because they are on fire at the mo. They buried Bury 3-0 on Saturday and have only lost 4 games all season (1 less than the Dons) letting in a miserly 15 goals en route. With 43 points so far, they have 3 games in hand on the leaders and 2 games on Hereford and Rotherham who both sit on 49. On Betfair, they are 10’s to win League 2 which is asking a bit too much but you can get around 9/11 on them getting promoted on Betfair. You’d be quakers to miss that!
