League One

Ladies and gents, Dexy’s back with the 3rd instalment of my league
predictions for this season. I reckon it will be this 3 for promotion, stand
by me….. here’s the rundown.

Leeds – Derby target Jermaine Beckford added another goal to take his season
tally to 16 on Monday night against Crewe, the boy is mustard and will take
them all the way to the top come May…. as long as Dennis the Menace stays
there, new signing Neil Kilkenny looks the business as well and will
certainly improve the Yorkshire outfit. Leeds are as short as Den in the
betting stakes. Just 8-15 for promotion. That’s buying nelsons.

Wise man

Nottingham Forest – Colin Calderwoods Forest are 8-15 for promotion
alongside Leeds. Unbeaten in 11, Grant Holt got 2 on Sat in the 4-0 hiding
against The O’s of Eastenders land, who were only just below them in 7th.
Cloughie will be proud, he was a bit handy when it came to dishing out
hidings himself, especially his own supporters. Have a swing at that 8-15.

Walsall – You may think Dexys gone doolally tipping lowly Walsall in 6th but
Richard Money is currently making them harder than Bruce Lee….. to beat.
The 2-1 against Millwall in the cup was their only loss in 19 games and The
Saddlers will bounce back once their injury list starts to clear. There has
been no call for African nations Gambian Edrissa Sonko who bagged 2 against
Swindon last weekend much to Moneys delight. I reckon they are are good bet
for the Wembley play-offs and at 7 – 1 for promotion, that’s the money.

Good to see it’s not all about the top leagues. Although Leeds & Forest are big teams we seem to get no attention! I honestly didn’t think Dennis Wise was the right man for the job, but he has been superb, the players love him, the fans love and my wife loves him too!

    Thats my top 3
