Arsenal 0-2 West Ham

Arsenal’s season started with a terrible defeat as West Ham won their first Premier League game under Slaven Bilic. Arsenals new Keeper Petr Cech punched the air as he misjudged Dimitri Payet’s free-kick to allow Cheikhou Kouyate to nod in the Hammers’ first just before the half time break. On 57 minutes, Mauro Zarate finished from 20 yards after he was  gifted the ball by the Gunners defence. Arsenal had controlled the game but didn’t use that possession until when Aaron Ramsey hit the crossbar with a looping shot. Arsenals midfield struggled, with the 16 year Reece Oxford making his Premier League debut was brilliant for West Ham, showing he could be a potential leader in the future.

Same old Arsenal will they ever learn?

Many many gunners left the Emirates Stadium in large numbers before the final whistle, and will definitely feel like they have seen all this before, not just in the way their side performed but also in the lack of leadership in the team. They will also have not enjoyed having Santi on a the left wing .Cech’s arrival from Chelsea has been Wenger’s only summer signing since last term’s third-place finish, and it was an uncharacteristic display from the experienced keeper. Giroud frequently looked isolated up front and failing to do anything that was useful this will no doubt increase the hope among Arsenal supporters that a reported deal for Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema can be completed.

We won’t win the league again under Wenger. Playing players out of position all the time. We have some of the quickest players in the league yet we stick we the same 3 creative players who exactly the same thing, Ramsey, Carzola and Ozil can’t play in the same team. Ozil was woeful again yesterday yet he never subs him
