Two days ago “A reliable source” source @YouAreMyArsenal reported that Arsenal were close to securing the signature of Yann M’vila and that the deal was to be confirmed possibly after the final game of the season.

Yann had Expressed his desire to work with a French manager, So this lead to people claiming he wanted to join Arsenal.

London based French Journalist @LaurensJulien Reported that a four-year £60k-a-week deal was 99% done, with Arsenal paying Rennes €22m for his services, An Arsenal Record.

Every Gooner hoped that this deal would be Confirmed Soon.

But Now it seems like we need to hope for the best But Expect the very Worst.

Reports that the deal is yet to be completed, along with Arsenal denying that a deal is in place, isn’t helping calm my nerves ONE BIT.

There’s always hope, Arsenal denied a deal was in place to bring in Podolski. But I can’t help but have a bad feeling about this.

All we can do is hope, Some Reports also claim that he wants t move to Arsenal even if we don’t qualify for the Champions League. Let’s get him before a another team with more intent and more resources joins the race. I don’t want a repeat of the Mata saga, No Arsenal Fan Does.

I wish it were so, but this story in the evening standard has me doubting big time:

you wait, we’ll be linked with 48 players this summer, and end up with 3. I just hope they are quality ones, and I don’t mean Hazzard, we need defence minded players. We don’t defend as a team and thats what we need to improve on. 47 goals conceded for a team in 3rd is shocking
